The kitchen leads to a large gazebo with tables and benches and a second outdoor kitchen and barbeque for outdoor cooking in the summer months.
The large, rustic living room (about 100 sq m) has an area that is perfect for relaxing on an armchair in front of the Tuscan-style fireplace (one of the sofas is actually a double sofa bed) and is separated from the dining area with its original wood table by a brick arch.
Also connected by a brick arch is the (satellite) TV room with comfortable armchairs.
Both the TV room and the dining area open onto the covered terrace (about 30 sq m): another attractive relaxation corner. Also on the ground floor: a service bathroom with washbasin, toilet and washing machine.
The upper floor, connected by an antique stone staircase, leads to the sleeping area, which includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The first room has a double bed and a full ensuite bathroom with large shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet. This room also has a loft with 2 extra beds. The second room also has a double bed and a full ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet. The third room has 2 single beds (that can be made into 1 double bed) and an attractive loft with 2 single beds (this room is especially nice for children): The fourth room has a double bed.
The third and fourth bedrooms can share the third bathroom, located right in the hallway that leads to the bedrooms. It is also equipped with shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet.
The 50-sq m 4-person apartment/annex has its own entrance (on the other side of the house) and is on the ground floor. It consists of: living/dining area, with eating space and double sofa bed. Fully-equipped kitchen area (4 burners + oven + dishwasher). The living room has a large French door that opens directly onto the garden and swimming pool. Sleeping area: bedroom with double bed and direct access to the garden. Full bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin, bidet. Tuscan terracotta tile-floors and wooden beam ceilings as well as occasional small terracotta vaults. Independent underfloor heating. Washing machine, satellite TV.
The entire house is tiled in Tuscan terracotta and has wooden beam ceilings along with some brick vaults. Thefarmhouse has underfloor heating.
The large park surrounding the farmhouse extends for 12 hectares from the wide green expanse around the house down towards the vineyards surrounding the property.
The large pool (20 x 18 m, in use from mid-April to late November) is our piece de resistance, as it has been studied in detail to ensure its integration into the landscape. It is really quite beautiful and effective: the shallow end recreates a sandy beach in the most authentic way possible. As the water becomes gradually deeper, you can swim towards the beach entry, as the water melts into the horizon.
The whirlpool bath for 10 people is part of the pool; thanks to its specially-designed shallow end, both children and adults can truly relax and enjoy themselves.
Near the pool you will also find another gazebo, fully equipped to allow you to enjoy this peaceful spot. Tropical beach umbrellas and sunbeds are a perfect complement to the ambience.
