Many are the reasons that make Seaside Farm and Casale Aia the ideal places where to spend an unforgettable Vacation, as many are the International Guests that every year, with their presence, give us the confirmation of what we are going to describe to you.

The Place, the Sea, Relax, Nature.
The Farms are situated in a quiet place, surrounded by a wide park, vineyards and olive groves, typical of this area. The particular closeness to the seaside allows the Guests to spend entire days on the sandy beaches of the Etruscan Coast.
Particularitity of the zone: a wide zone of pinewood parallel to the beaches, ideal for pic-nics, long walks or jogging. The coast, mostly sandy, is dotted with many bathing establishments where can be possible to rent daily beach umbrellas and lying-chairs, alternated to large parts of free beach. To remember: a particular beach with free access for animals and an other for the lovers of nudism.Much famous, and only 10 Minuts far from the Farms, the "White Beaches": famous for the particular white sand and the crystalline water, compared to those of the Caraibbean Sea and today set for photographic services and films.
Coming back from the preferred every day activities, the Farms welcome the appreciate Guests in the wide park with swimming pool and lying-chairs: we are sure that everyone will be able to find a corner of peace to lie in the sun or to read in total relax, even drinking the good red wine of the house.

The Surroundings
Besides the most famous art cities of Tuscany, the Farms are surrounded by many small villages where it is possible to find again the "Quiet Living", the traditions and the culture that only in Tuscany you will only be able to find. Here some suggestions.
Montescudaio, 3 Km far: the beautiful public square of the Church offers an unforgettable panorama of the hills until the sea, a nice photografic souvenir ...... Don’t forget moreover to buy the good bread of the village that can be preserved for many days.
Casale Marittimo, 10 minutes of car: perfectly restored ancient village on a hill looking towards the sea.
Castiglioncello, Km from the Farms: it offers, besides the equipped beaches, one beautiful walk all along the seaside, particularly evocative also in the months of low season.
Bolgheri, nearby too: native land of the G.Carducci poet and of the well known wines D.O.C. such as “Sassicaia”. To admire the most beautiful avenue of cypresses of Europe, best photografic subject of all the tourists. The ancient village where to stop to drink a good red wine even accompanied from “crostini” or “bruschetta”.
Cecina Mare, 5 minutes far: bathing establishments, free beaches and one immense choice of restaurants with speciality of fish and of pizzerie. Very beautiful is the pinewood along the seaside for walks and jogging.
Castello di Querceto: ancient medieval village... nice atmosphere.
Populonia : or who loves archeology.....visit the Etruscan sites, then to the return a walk in the alleys of the castle.
Venturina : thermal center and thermal lake to spend a day in total relax... in approximately 15 minutes of car.

Special children
Seaside Farm and Casale Aia are the preferred places for the children. In fact both wide parks with swimming pool are perfect for their games and the parents could feel sure because they are far from whichever type of danger. Also the sandy beaches, 5 minuteren of car, are the preferred one from the families. In fact the degrading depth of the sea is ideal for the bath of the children and inexperts.
In the neighborhood there are 2 parks for children, one aquatic and the other thematic.

Italian Cooking
Our zone particularly is known also for the goodness of the local cooking. In fact, thanks to the optimal native products like oil and wine, the typical dishes are truly to try. Besides the wide variety of fish, cooked in many ways to you, there are all the dishes made up of meat, or the pasta together with varies souces.
We give belows the Recipe of the “Cacciucco Livornese”, one of well known dishes of the Etruscan Coast.....we would be glad to suggest you the best restaurants, taverns and pizzerie of the area. Put to the fire one casserole with bottom of oil of olive, garlic, salvia and chili pepper and soffriggere. To put polpi and small cuttlefishes cut to you to pezzettoni, to bathe with wine white man and to add the tomato concentrated one, to cook for 20 minuteren rimestando. Hand by hand to add pieces from zuppa and the ring dove cuts to you. The Sports
The one who are fond of sports will be enthusiastic because of the multiple activities that can be done in the immediate neighborhood. The bicycle fans will find extraordinary routes, in the nature and the typical landscape of the zone, through kilometers in plain or sweet characteristic hills of the zone and through the many historical villages of the Etruscan Coast.
Who loves jogging will have at disposal the pinewood of Cecina Mare; the tennis players will find different centers in a few Km; finally who loves walking will be able to leave the Farms and reach the village of Montescudaio or Bibbona crossing the countryside with vineyards and olive groves.
Do not forget all the summer sports, from the swim to the sail, until the underwater fishing that during the summer are the preferred activities on our coast. In Tuscany there are moreover various golf courses. That one in Tirrenia, is only 30 minutes of car.

Shopping
Tuscany is well known in the world for shopping. Besides the big variety of shops that can be found in the most important cities of Tuscany, (Florence is the first in chart ,approximately 1 hour of car from the Poggiali), we must also remember the Versilia with Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi (approximately 1 hour of car with a comfortable highway) where the main italian griffes have opened all kind of boutiques.

The local Markets
Cecina: every tuesday morning, with all kinds, shoes, furnishing, linen...... (one of largest of Tuscany). Vada e Livorno : every friday morning, with all kinds, foods, shoes, furnishing, linen. S.Vincenzo e Volterra : every saturday morning, with all kinds, apparel, shoes, furnishing, linen. Cecina Mare : every Sunday morning (during the summertime).
